Links

http://www.weather.gov/
This is a link for the NOAA National Weather Service website. The site is great for looking up any weather warnings or watches for your area. You can also look up forecasts, radar images, and statistical models.

This is another link within the NOAA website that is an interactive snow map. You are able to select different days, physical features, and hydrological features. It is really interesting to play around with.

One of my absolute favorite subjects within science is astronomy. This link above is a page for space weather. It shows an image of the sun using X-rays and also reports on any radiation storms.

This website has it all. Weather maps, cameras, ski weather, tropical weather, and even a page that has links to over 150 other weather websites.

I really should not have gone to this link...I wish we had weather like this. This link is a live camera view of Catalina in California.

http://www.intellicast.com/Storm/Severe/Lightning.aspx

The website of intellicast has a lot of interesting maps and I think this is one of the more interesting ones, lighting strikes. Being in the middle of winter, the map isn't very active, but it will definitely be an interesting link to look at when Spring rolls around.
